A Fairy TELL in EMI

    The Pedagogy and Practice in Technology Enhanced Language Learning (PPTELL 2023) Conference will be held by the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) and the PPTELL Association. This international conference is an annual academic event that brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners to share their research and practice on using digital technology to mediate and enhance language education. PPTELL 2023 aims to promote intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary dialogues for collaborations between academia and the global e-learning industry, as well as to strengthen the TELL's progress.

    The theme of PPTELL 2023 is “A Fairy TELL in EMI and Beyond.” It focuses on using emerging technology to scaffold, facilitate and support language learners to become ideal selves in various language learning contexts, including formal and informal, and in the EMI context. In addition to technology-enhanced language learning and teaching, PPTELL 2023 is keen to initiate a conversation on how emerging technology has nurtured learners’ becomings, such as through monitoring their learning progress and making necessary adjustments based on their own needs in the EMI context.
